Beaver Enterprises
Beaver Enterprises is a native owned and operated firm that currently operates out of the
Eel Ground First Nation in New Brunswick. Beaver Enterprise has been operating for the past
two years focusing on work and assignments in the consulting and contracting fields. These
contracts were specially obtained due to the experience and expertise in native issues
pertaining to aboriginal socio-economic development, resource management issues and human
resource development.
Contractor Expertise
Beaver Enterprises, through past and present experiences, has had numerous opportunities to contract and deal with a number
of different government departments and agencies dealing with socio-economic and employment development issues. The
personnel of the company also has extensive experience negotiating, consulting, evaluating and assessing government initiatives
with department officials, especially as they relate to First Nation issues. This company is fully capable of providing the
following: drafting reports, conducting studies, preparing research documents, conducting feasibility analysis, providing
project management services, conducting workshops/seminars, training delivery, preparing communications and press
releases, undertaking human resource needs and assessments studies, analyzing and evaluating business and marketing
plans, and operational reviews. This work is done primarily though the experienced associates that have been contracted
through the company, utilizing a variety of past and present experiences to draw upon for successful completion of the
assignment. A number of activities that we have experience applying and will continue to utilize to carry out evaluations
and reviews include: employing personal interviews, written questionnaires, telephone interviews/surveys, workshops, and
information evaluation and assessments, etc.
Through Beaver Enterprises, a great deal of experience and expertise is available, which was
developed through previous work and contracts. A number of functions that the company has
initiated or have been involved in, relate to evaluation and review work including
management, administration and determination of the most effective delivery method of
socio-economic development initiatives for native communities. These included developing,
assessing and delivering the different components of fisheries, forestry, human resource
development, and business development programs in a cost-effective manner with employment
creation as the primary focus. Other duties included writing interim and final reports on the
delivery, financial, employment and socio-economic impacts that these programs had on the
community. Other roles included hiring and training of community members for employment in
these programs, conducting and assessing pilot projects for commercial viability and carrying
out projects to determine, assess and access the potential for recreational and commercial
fisheries. On a number of occasions, the company has prepared or reviewed a large number of
business and marketing plans to establish potential business opportunities and has worked with
a number of native entrepreneurs to access potential financing for these business opportunities.

Indigenous Peoples Geophysical Survey
Indigenous Peoples Geophysical Survey provides expertise in all aspects of
geophysical surveys. With worldwide experience, we are ready to provide
complete airborne and ground surveys. Our accurate assessment can help you
realize the mineral potential on reserve and land claim areas.
Alvin Tolley provides expertise in all aspects of geophysical surveys.
Mr. Tolley is primarily responsible for the planning of the survey, including
the development of the flight path, the compilation of the airborne surveys
and survey data, and production of the photo layouts. Follow-up ground
geophysical surveys can be planned with input from geophysical staff.
In planning and undertaking geophysical surveys, we work closely with the
residents of the community. We offer employment and training to the local
members of the Inuit and Aboriginal communities where the survey project is
being conducted. We also provide assistance and follow-up advice upon
completion of the survey.
