The City Hall, Toronto

The City Hall is the pride of Toronto. It was several years in building and cost nearly $3,000,000. It is built of brown stone and finished inside with marble on the first floor. The largest bell in the tower, the one which announces the hour, weighs over five tons. From this tower on a clear day and with a strong glass the spray of Niagara may be seen. The building covers one square and faces Queen and Bay Streets.
