St. John (Views in Rockwood Park)

Rockwood Park is within a few minutes' walk of the center of the city and covers over 250 acres of primitive natural scenery. A fine driveway leads about the shore of a beautiful sheet of water, Lily Lake, surrounded by high banks topped with evergreen. It is a favorite spot for skating in the early winter season. An attractive road leads from the Lake to Lily Lake Falls, interesting in time of high water.
