75th Reg't Band

The citizens of Lunenburg County have long been noted for their musical talent and propensities, which may well be attributed to their German and Scotch origin. This Band which has been under regular organization for over 30 years, became attached to the 75th Battalion or what is now the 75th Regiment of Militia in 1877, and has always maintained a foremost place among the military bands of the Province at Aldershot Camp, and have received high encomiums for the precision and sweetness of their music.
