Chateau de Ramezay1; Bonsecours Market2

1. Constructed in 1705 by Claude de Ramezay, Governor of Montreal. The residence of succeeding French and English governors. During the American Revolution General Montgomery had his headquarters here and Benjamin Franklin set up his printing press in the Chateau. Now an historical museum.

2. The market of the French Canadian habitants on the water front.
