White Pine Pictures is an independent, Canadian film and television production company based in Toronto, Ontario. We specialize in docu-dramas, documentaries and television series and have collaborated with several international broadcasters - Channel 4 UK, PBS, SVT Stockholm, ABC Australia. With over sixty hours of television production, our work is recognized for its compelling visual styles and depth of content.
Collaborating with the best of our Canadian, as well as international writers, cinematographers and crews, our reputation for high production and post production quality has garnered White Pine Pictures over thirty international awards. Last year we produced two prime-time documentary series: thirteen half hours on the immigrant experience in Canada for History Television, and six hours on the business of hockey for the CBC. In 1998, White Pine Pictures was awarded the Gold Medal for Best Documentary Television series at the International Worldfest Houston. This year we continue with over 3 hours on CTV prime time, and
13 half hours on the History Channel.
The company was founded by award-winning filmmaker Peter Raymont, now in partnership with writer/filmmaker Lindalee Tracey (Creative producer).
