photographer: "M.E.C." on reverse of print - indicates that initials stand for Emily Carr, photo taken at same time as PN5541 (note same size glass plate, same location); Edythe Hembroff-Scheicher (a personal friend of Emily Carr) contends that Miss Carr was not inclined towards amateur photography and therefore believes that Miss Carr did not take the photograph . (see other notes on photographer (PN5541) which could support this supposition. per D.S. April 22/77
date: I attribute this photograph as having been taken circa 1913 , see PN5541 (both are glass plates, grass is same length, same location) D.S. April 22/77.
