Henry Tremblett House (Bonavista) Henry Tremblett House was built in 1900 for the successful Bonavista fisherman Henry Tremblett by one of Bonavista's premiere family of builders, the Strathies.
An unusually elaborate home for a fisherman, the Trembletts used the dwelling as the family residence from the time of its construction until 1993, when they left it vacant. The Heritage Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador designated the Henry Tremblett House a Heritage Structure in March 1996. Updated February, 2005 |
