Heritage Tours

This section consists of tours for all towns or cities containing four or more Registered Heritage Structures. In total, it encompasses 74 of the 157 structures divided into 10 Heritage Tours.

Each tour starts with a map of the area where the structures are located. All structures on the tour are indicated on this map by numbered red markers. You can jump to any stop in the tour by simply clicking on the respective red marker. If you are using Netscape 3.0+ or Internet Explorer 4.0+, passing your mouse over a marker will reveal a picture of the structure in the yellow portion of the map containing the structure names.

To gain a wider viewing area for the tours, we have removed the red sidebar. Instead, the navigational links are contained on red bars at the top and bottom of each page. The navigational bar contained at the bottom of each map contains a link entitled Getting There, which reveals a page with driving instructions on how to get to the town in question. The only exception is St. John's, the capital city of Newfoundland & Labrador.

If you plan on visiting one of these towns, we suggest you print all pages in the tour before you go. Also, a road map of Newfoundland and Labrador should be at your disposal.
