Scientists feel that the best way to communicate with intelligent extra-terrestrial beings is through radio waves. This is currently being done by emitting sequences of high and low frequency pulses which represent black and white patches. The image encoded and transmitted through the Arecibo radio telescope is shown in the image at far left. The message is in sections which are numbered in the second image. Can you figure out what all of the sections mean? |
