Statement:
Sandra
Tannous proposes themes of condition, position, resources and experience
which question the needs and the environments of human beings.
How and
with what have spaces been built? What were the instruments, the
places, the daily materials involved? Inspired by these types of
questions, the sculptures presented here have worked the object
as a sign. A process of
purification is used to find the primordial sense of the form, concealing
the object¹s function and diverting its references. Through
the language of
sculpture a new formal equilibrium takes shape.
