Robert Adams is currently the Executive Director at Durham Mental Health Services, a community mental health agency in Whitby, Ontario. He has been at Durham Mental Health Services for the past 20 years and has worked in the social services for the past 30 years, in government and community positions. He is involved with numerous social service and health related community committees and has been the Chair of the Durham Human Service/Justice Coordinating Committee for the past three years. Currently and for the past 12 years, Robert has served as an Appointed Public Member on the Ontario Consent and Capacity Review Board and was the Chair of the Child and Family Services Custody Review Board of Ontario. Robert also currently teaches Interpersonal Communications at Durham College and is a certified Crisis Intervention Trainer and Conflict Resolution Mediator.
