John Rook - Alberta

Dr. John Rook has worked in the areas of poverty, marginalization and homelessness for over thirty years. His career has included positions in both university and not-for profit organizations. He has chaired Booth University College board, is an Adjunct faculty member at the University of Calgary's Social Work department, and sits on several poverty committees. A former board member of the Calgary Homeless Foundation, he provides consulting services to municipalities and organizations desiring to restructure their homeless services. He has four university degrees including a doctorate from Oxford University. John is the CEO of Potential Place Society in Calgary.
