PRIME MINISTER WELCOMES JIM MUNSON
AS
SENIOR COMMUNICATION ADVISOR

Prime Minister Jean Chrétien is pleased to welcome Jim Munson to the Prime
Minister’s Office as Senior Communication Advisor.
Mr. Munson has most recently worked as a consultant on First Nations
Governance at the Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development.
Mr. Munson has also held senior positions at CTV for the past 23 years,
including Senior Parliamentary Correspondent in Ottawa, Bureau Chief in London,
England, Bureau Chief in Beijing, China and Bureau Chief in Halifax, Nova
Scotia.
Mr. Munson’s appointment is effective August 6, 2002.
