Prime Minister announces Jean Augustine as new Special Adviser for Grenada

Prime Minister Paul Martin today announced the Honourable Jean Augustine, MP for Etobicoke—Lakeshore, will serve as the new Special Adviser for Grenada.
“Jean Augustine will bring a unique perspective to this position as a native of Grenada,” said the Prime Minister.
She will provide advice to the Minister of Foreign Affairs on Grenada, represent Canada at international meetings on Grenada and work with civil society.
Ms. Augustine’s appointment will help ensure Canada’s commitment to Grenada. Canada recently has made contributions to help Grenada with economic reconstruction, agriculture and the affects of Hurricane Ivan.
