Statement by the Prime Minister on the health of the Governor General

Prime Minister Paul Martin today made the following statement:
“It is with great concern that I have learned that Governor General Adrienne Clarkson has been admitted to the hospital. All Canadians join me in expressing our heartfelt hope for a speedy recovery. Our thoughts are with Her Excellency.”
