Dear Prime Minister:
Pursuant to the Public Service Employment Act, I am pleased to submit
to you the Tenth Annual Report to the Prime Minister on the Public Service of
Canada.
As public servants we take great pride in our vocation of service to fellow
citizens and in the institution which we serve. Excellence is the standard that
we set for ourselves in every aspect of our work. We know that the privilege of
being a public servant is balanced by responsibility and accountability and that
both of these features are based on the trust which Canadians place in us to
serve on their behalf.
