MINISTER DION STRESSES THE NEED TO RESPECT
THE SUPREME COURT'S DECISION IN ITS ENTIRETY
OTTAWA, ONTARIO, August 26, 1998 – In connection with the reactions to
the Supreme Court's opinion on the issue of unilateral secession by Quebec, the
Honourable Stéphane Dion, President of the Privy Council and Minister of
Intergovernmental Affairs, sent an open letter to the Premier of Quebec, Mr.
Lucien Bouchard. A
