National Liberal Caucus Chair Elections

Prime Minister Jean Chrétien is pleased to announce the Liberal Caucus Executive that was selected in yesterday's National Caucus elections.
"We have always been fortunate to have a great team of Caucus Chairs, and this year is no exception," said the Prime Minister. "I look forward to working closely with them in meeting the needs of our Caucus as a whole and in implementing our government's agenda as we head into a new century. And I want to express my appreciation to Joe Fontana, who has done such a great job as National Caucus Chair over the past two years."
