NOTICE

Prime Minister Paul Martin will attend a private gathering of religious and community leaders on Friday, April 23, 2004 on the occasion of a visit to Ottawa by His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

The gathering will be hosted by The Most Reverend Marcel Gervais, Roman Catholic Archbishop of Ottawa, at his Official Residence.

Among those in attendance will be members of Interfaith Ottawa as well as Co-Chairs Ottawa Mayor Bob Chiarelli and Pandit Madhu Sahasrabudhe.

The Prime Minister is meeting the Dalai Lama as a highly respected spiritual leader and recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize.
