Prime Minister Announces Appointments to the 
Canadian Centre for Management Development

Prime Minister Jean Chrétien today announced the appointment of six new members to the Board of Governors of the Canadian Centre for Management Development, representing both the private sector and the public service.

Sheldon Bowles of Winnipeg, Manitoba, is President of Ode to Joy Limited and founding president of Domo Gasoline Corporation.

Rosemary Penelhum of Bragg Creek, is President of Rosemary Penelhum Consulting Inc. She was previously Partner and Consultant with Deloitte and Touche Management Consultants.

Hubert SaintOnge of Richmond Hill, Ontario, is Vice-President, Learning Organization and Leadership Development, with the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. Previously, he held the position of Vice-President, Resourcing and Development.

Suzanne Hurtubise of Ottawa, Ontario, is Deputy Minister of Canadian Heritage.

Jean McCloskey of Ottawa, Ontario, is Deputy Minister of Natural Resources.

David Holdsworth of Ottawa, Ontario, is Assistant Secretary to the Cabinet (Management Priorities and Senior Personnel), Privy Council Office.

The Centre is dedicated to enhancing public sector management capabilities, excellence in teaching and research into public sector management, and promoting a strong corporate culture in the federal public service.
