Statement by the Prime Minister

The Prime Minister expressed his shock and outrage at the suicide bombings today in Jerusalem. "Our thoughts and prayers at this moment are with the families of the victims and the people of Israel," said the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister also registered his concern about the impact that the terrorist attack could have on the peace process. "This act of cowardice is aimed at destroying the hopes of all people for peace in the region. We cannot allow terrorists to succeed," concluded the Prime Minister.
