Prime Minister Paul Martin today announced the appointment of Mr. Peter Harder, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, as his personal representative for the next G8 Summit to be held in Sea Island, Georgia, United States, from June 8-10, 2004.
Mr. Harder is charged with the coordination of the substantive policy agenda for the Summit, as well as ensuring implementation of initiatives afterwards.
