NEWS RELEASE

On behalf of the Government of Canada, Minister of State (Multiculturalism and Status of Women), the Hon. Jean Augustine, will travel to the Commonwealth of Dominica on January 17 to attend the state funeral of Prime Minister Pierre Charles.

Prime Minister Charles died suddenly on January 6. He was 49 years old.
