MINISTER STÉPHANE DION RESPONDS TO THE
MINISTERIAL STATEMENT BY JACQUES BRASSARD

OTTAWA, ONTARIO, November 19, 1997 – On November 12, Quebec's Minister for Canadian Intergovernmental Affairs, Mr. Jacques Brassard, made a ministerial statement on the territorial integrity of Quebec. The President of the Privy Council and Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs, Mr. Stéphane Dion, responded in writing today to Mr. Brassard.
