Minister Axworthy to attend funeral of former Greek Prime Minister June 25, 1996 Ottawa, Ontario Prime Minister Jean Chrétien today announced that Foreign Affairs Minister Lloyd Axworthy will represent the Government of Canada at the funeral of former Greek Prime Minister Andreas Papandreou. The funeral will take place in Athens, Greece, tomorrow, Wednesday, June 26.
