Prime Minister Names Parliamentary Secretaries

In making these changes, the Prime Minister said, "I want to thank all of the excellent Parliamentary Secretaries who have provided a broad range of assistance to Ministers within each portfolio. They have made a very significant contribution to the success of the Government in meeting the needs of Canadians."

The Prime Minister has decided to continue the assignments of some Parliamentary Secretaries, while also rotating assignments among other members of Caucus in order for them to benefit from this valuable experience.

A list of Parliamentary Secretaries is attached. The appointments are effective immediately.
