1. Represents the total or weighted average of provincial, territorial and federal jurisdiction figures as applicable.
2. Represents warrant of committal admissions for federal programs and excludes intermittent sentences for provincial and territorial programs.
3. For provincial and territorial programs, typically includes offenders held in temporary detention for immigration purposes or parole suspension and generally excludes lock-up counts. For federal programs, includes revocation of conditional release and other admissions such as transfers from other jurisdictions.
4. Provincial and territorial figures represent provincial parole where applicable. Federal figures represent the sum of day parole, full parole and statutory release.
