Information Label
The package must be labelled to include the name of the product, the name
and address of the packer or distributor, the statement of the quantity of
contents and the official Inspection Legend including the official
establishment number.
The following information is on the label:
- Canada Inspection Legend
- Establishment Number
- Name of the product
- The declaration: "The meat contained herein is for personal use only
and not for sale. It is derived from animals that received antemortem and
postmortem inspection and were found sound and healthy and has been inspected
and passed as provided by the Canadian Meat Inspection Act and
Regulations."
