Diagram 1 - Beef Carcass Inspection

For use when inspecting individual sample units

This image shows us one sample unit with the following points:

  1. Starting point for inspection of the forequarter

    The image of one sample unit has a star marking the starting point and has arrows for indicating the direction to sample the unit; in the middle of the image is an indication to Swing side around, and at the end of the line with arrows is the indication Record - then up platform to back.

  2. Starting point for inspection of the hindquarter

    Another star on the image of one sample unit marks the starting point for inspection of the hindquarter and has arrows for indicating the direction to sample the unit; in the middle of the image is an indication to Swing side around, and at the end of the line with arrows is the indication Record - then up platform to back.
