Asian long-horned beetle general infested area

This image is a map which shows the generally infested area in parts of the City of Toronto and City of Vaughan in the Province of Ontario.

The map also includes the regulated area

• the western border begins at the intersection of Provincial Highway 409 and York Regional Road 27;
• it continues north on York Regional Road 27 to the intersection of York Regional Road 27 and Rutherford Road;
• the northern border continues east on Rutherford Road to Dufferin Street.
• the eastern border continues south on Dufferin Street to Provincial Highway 401;
• the southern border continues west on Provincial Highway 401 to the junction of Provincial Highway 401 and Provincial Highway 409; and
• the border then continues west on provincial highway 409 to the initial point of intersection with York Regional Road 27.

Within the regulated area

• there is a tree removal zone in the Steeles area inside Kipling, Islington, Sheppard, Highway 7 and the Finch areas;
• within the area between tree removal area and the regulated area is a buffer zone.
