If the source is a regular flock/herd, follow regular application procedures, and start at level E. If the source is a VSFCP herd of level D or higher, ask, is there an intention to keep the status? If "no," follow regular application procedures, and start at level E. If "yes," ask whether small ruminants have been on the property in the last 10 years. If "no," follow regular application procedures, and start at level D or higher. If "yes" or "unknown," proceed with application procedures, follow cleaning and disinfection protocol prior to stocking, and start at level D or higher.
