Map eight illustrates the areas of the world that have similar climates to the Northern Artic Canadian ecozone which extends over most of the non-mountainous areas of the arctic islands and parts of north-eastern Keewatin, western Baffin Island, and northern Quebec. Areas with similar climates include northern Russia and Nunavut Territory.
