CIDL Bursary ProgramCIDL sponsors learning opportunities to assist our members with achieving successful digitization projects. For example, CIDL has provided individual bursaries to attend the annual summer workshop of the Electronic Text Centre at the University of New Brunswick Libraries. The aim of the CIDL Bursary Program is to provide assistance for travel costs to attend selected programs in Canada associated with digitization best practices. The program is offered to employees of CIDL members in good standing at the time of application. Bursary funds are limited, and offered when CIDL resources allow. The successful recipient of a CIDL Bursary is required to write a report about their learning experience for publication in the CIDL Newsletter.
