Juno Awards

Since 1970, the The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences has been awarding artists and technicians within the Canadian music industry with the coveted Juno award.

Oscar Peterson and Guy Lombardo had the honour of being the first to recieve the Juno Hall of Fame award when it was introduced in 1978. Since then Oscar went on to receive a Juno award for Best Jazz Album in 1987 for If You Could See Me Now and numerous Best Jazz Album nominations including Oscar Peterson Live (1990) and Oscar Peterson meets Roy Hargrove and Ralph Moore (1996). 1
