Lucille Lessard
Lucille Lessard at the Archery Provincial Championship in Joliette, Quebec, 2 September 1974, by Marc Juster

In 1974, at the age of seventeen, Lucille Lessard (born 1957) won her first national championship; she went on later that year to claim the World Field Archery championship held in Yugoslavia. She defended her national title five times. The photo shows her competing at the Provincial Archery championship one week after her stunning victory at the world championship.
