Susan Nattrass
Susan Nattrass in a shooting competition at the Montreal Olympic Games, 1976, by M. Burns

Susan Nattrass (born 1950) was the first woman trapshooter to compete in the then mixed event at the Olympics in Montreal in 1976. She dominated her sport, winning seven world championships in women’s trapshooting. Her lobbying for separate events for trap and skeet for women resulted in these competitions being held for the first time at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
