Arnold Boldt
Arnold Boldt jumping at the International Olympiad for the Physically Disabled in Toronto, 8 August 1976, by John Mahler

Arnold Boldt (born 1957) lost his right leg in a farm accident at the age of three. His passion for competitive sports, however, led him to become the best disabled high jumper ever. At the International Olympiad for the Physically Disabled in 1976, the eighteen-year old set a new world record for the event. In 1981, he jumped an amazing career best of 2.08 metres in Winnipeg.
