The Workshop for Instruction in Library Use (WILU), is Canada's major information literacy conference. From humble beginnings more than forty years ago when WILU was centred in Ontario and Quebec, over the past decade or two the annual conference has expanded coast to coast. Lately WILU is recognized internationally as a pre-eminent event for academic librarians as well as others interested exploring the theory and practice related to the library's wide reaching role in teaching and learning in higher education.
This area of the WILU 2014 website introduces you to the dedicated individuals at Western Libraries, the Affiliated University College Libraries and Western's Faculty of Information and Media Studies responsible for planning your WILU experience in London in May 2014. Follow the Governance link to the left.
If your institution is contemplating serving as WILU host in 2015, you will find details of application process by clicking the Hosting link.
