The collection acquires, organizes
and preserves materials on the Holocaust and helps students,
teachers and the community at large learn about the Holocaust,
propaganda
and racism. The collection consists of nearly 1,000 monographs,
reference works, newspapers and magazine articles published
in Europe, Israel and North America from 1930 to the present.
Most of the collection's titles are in English. Some are in
Yiddish, Hebrew, French, German or Danish.
The collection concentrates on documentation
of the Holocaust and the Third Reich, Holocaust-related art,
music and literature, personal accounts of survivors and victims,
and war criminals and their trials. It features further supporting
material regarding the Second World War, antisemitism
and response to the Holocaust in North America.
