Carol Livingstone
Carol Livingstone is a local folklorist and a master storyteller. Her spine tingling
tales have held people's attention from all over the world. Her vast collection of
Ghost stories and other tales from the West Point area, and her ability to tell them
was "absorbed through her mothers milk" Carol comes from a long line of storytellers.
She feels lucky to have grown in a time when there was no electricity, a time when
imagination was entertainment. "There was nothing to distract you from the stories, no
television or video games." Her stories now capture the imagination of a new generation, and though there are currently distractions around, you would never know it to see her and her audience. Carol lives in the West Point area and continues to collect tales for her enjoyment and for the enjoyment of her audience. Stories from her collection are featured on this website.
