John Yeo

John Yeo John would win the seat his brother had left vacant only one time before accepting a senate appointment. John Yeo was the youngest son of the famous Port Hill Shipbuilder James Yeo. A long-time MLA, he held his brothers James (Jr.) MP seat until being appointed to the senate, John represented his constituents for a record 66 years, a record said to be unbroken in the British Commonwealth.
