A Threshing Outfit

As time went on, more and more farmers could afford to have their own threshing outfit. The operation of this outfit still required up to twenty men. Workers from the city of Brandon and from surrounding villages were hired during the harvest period to run the thresher. When the harvest was finished the workers would return to Brandon for the winter.
