eLetters: Wonderful piece ... once its purpose is known

I originally read about this article and its findings earlier this year on one of the many news feed sites on the Internet, likely the National Post. Although I raised my eyebrows and wondered about why people would spend their time with such and effort at the time, I today laugh it off. I did not give the 'study' much time or thought at the time, so I did not go tracking it's sources down. However, upon reading a short article today that stated the article was written for the holiday issue as a light-hearted piece, I think that the only people needing to be blamed here are the reporters who omitted that little fact from their 'investigative journalism' pieces. In fact, I now applaud the authors for their lighted-heared approach on a piece dealing with a well known Canadian group of characters.

Final Words: Doctors = good sense of humour; Journalists = get the story straight!
