Davey, Peter W., Edmonton; Queen's University, 1949; general pathology; FCAP, FRCPC; former senior pathologist and director of laboratory medicine, Royal Alexandra Hospital; staff, Department of Laboratory Medicine and associate partner, Baker Clinic; pathologist, Stirrat Laboratories; assistant professor, University of Alberta; president, Canadian Association of Pathologists, College of Physicians and Surgeons, Edmonton Academy of Medicine and Royal Alexandra Hospital medical staff; senior member, CMA. Died of cancer Mar. 31, 2000, aged 75; survived by his wife, Shirley, and 6 children. His obituary stated: "He never met a country road he didn't want to explore."

Fyfe, Joseph W., Sudbury, Ont.; University of Toronto, 1946; anesthesia; FRCPC; former chief, Department of Anesthesia, Sudbury General Hospital; associate staff, Sudbury Memorial Hospital and Copper Cliff Clinic. Died Mar. 27, 2000, aged 77; was predeceased by his wife, Joanna. He is survived by 4 children. He was a trustee with the Sudbury Catholic School Board for more than 25 years and served as a member of an Ontario Royal Commission on School Funding. His obituary stated that after his retirement, "hardly a week would pass that he wasn't out at a dance, usually at Branch 76 of the Legion."

Gibson, George A., Comox, BC; University of Edinburgh (Scotland), 1940; public health; DPH; former director, Upper Island Health Unit. Died Mar. 29, 2000, aged 83.

Hébert, Henri J., Salaberry-de-Valleyfield (Qué.); Université de Montréal, 1949; chirurgie orthopédique; ancien membre du personnel du Centre hospitalier de Valleyfield. Décédé le 15 mars 2000, à l'âge de 78 ans.

Kocsis, Lorant F., Winnipeg; Pecsi University (Hungary), 1944; family medicine; CCFP; former staff, Misericordia General Hospital; president, Manitoba College of Family Physicians. Died of cancer Apr. 8, 2000, aged 80; survived by his wife, Henrietta, and 2 children. He was presented with the Knight of the Order of St. Laszlo in recognition of humanitarian service to Canada's Hungarian community.

Lemieux, Jean J., Sillery (Qué.); Université Laval, 1946; chirurgie orthopédique; ancien chirurgien adjoint du service d'orthopédie du Centre hospitalier St-Sacrement et de l'Hôpital Laval; expert-conseil en chirurgie orthopédique du Centre hospitalier Robert Giffard. Décédé le 9 juin 1999, à l'âge de 77 ans.

McGregor, Norval R., Surrey, BC; University of Western Ontario, 1950; RCAF, WW II; former RCAF medical officer; staff, Riverview Hospital, Port Coquitlam. Died of cancer Apr. 1, 2000, aged 81; survived by his wife, Doreen, and 5 children.

Morin, Léonard H., Ottawa; Université de Montréal, 1951; pédiatrie; ancien chef du département de pédiatrie et de soins aux nouveau-nés et prématurés de l'Hôpital Montfort; membre du personnel, Hôpital Général d'Ottawa. Décédé le 2 avril 2000, à l'âge de 81 ans; laisse son épouse, Michelle, et deux enfants.

Pattee, Chauncey J., Westmount, Que.; McGill University, 1935; endocrinology; FACP; former honorary staff, Royal Victoria Hospital; assistant professor, McGill University. Died Mar. 12, 2000, aged 87; survived by 4 children.
