What kind of a title is "New Doubts about the diet and cancer connection"? Although the study reported did not find a connection specifically between dietary fibre intake and colorectal cancer, it does nothing to refute a large body of evidence that says we are VERY affected by what we put in our mouths.

The study in question looks at short-term (4 year) incidence of colorectal lesions in people who differed in their self-reported eating habits. Thus it provides no conclusions which should shake the foundations of the diet-cancer body of literature.

Although the text was balanced, your title suggests a "throw out the baby with the bathwater" approach.

Sincerely
