Clement, George F., Milton, Ont.; University of Western Ontario, 1952; anesthesia; FRCPC; former staff, Mississauga Hospital. Died June 29, 2000, aged 79; survived by his wife, Marjorie, and 3 children.

Donati, Serge, Québec, (Qué,); Université Laval, 1949; santé communautaire; FIMA, FAOMA, FRSH, CCBOM; ancien directeur médical de la Compagnie minière Québec Cartier, Port-Cartier Est. Décédé le 18 avril 2000, à l'âge de 76 ans.

Finlayson, Alexander J., Paris, Ont.; University of Toronto, 1938; obstetrics/gynecology; FRCSC; RCAMC, WW II; former staff, Brantford General, St. Joseph's and Willett hospitals. Died May 27, 2000, aged 94; survived by his wife, Beatrice, and 3 daughters. His obituary stated: "He was the type of doctor who did things the old-fashioned way. He went the extra mile and then some for his patients, and continued to practise until he was 83."

Grenier, P. Émilien, Sherbrooke (Qué.); Université Laval, 1943; maladies respiratoires; DPH, FCCP; ancien chef du départment de pneumologie de l'Hôtel-Dieu de Sherbrooke; membre émérite de l'AMC. Décédé le 14 avril 2000, à l'âge de 89 ans.

Hayden, D.E. Peter, Mahone Bay, NS; McGill University, 1960; urology; obstetrics/gynecology; FRCSC; former staff, Lakeshore General Hospital. Died May 25, 2000, aged 67; survived by his wife, Hilary, and 2 children. He practised in Point Claire, Que., for 30 years and delivered more than 7000 babies. His obituary stated: " 'To the beach,' crabapple trees, homemade marmalade, camping, gardening, white cut-off shorts, skating on the river and drinking maple sap from the buckets in the spring — these are the memories of the man we all loved."

Died June 21, 2000, aged 82; survived by his wife, Patricia, and 4 children.

O'Neill, John D., Chatham, Ont.; University of Western Ontario, 1946; obstetrics/gynecology; FRCSC; former staff, Chatham General and St. Joseph's hospitals. Died June 2, 2000, aged 75; survived by his wife, Jessie, and 4 daughters. His obituary stated: "He shared his knowledge with colleagues, nurses, children and grandchildren, and anyone who wanted to know anything about contract bridge."

Squires, Wayne G., Weyburn, Sask.; University of Saskatchewan, 1961; former chief of staff, Weyburn General and Weyburn Union hospitals; medical examiner, Grain Elevators Company; civil aviation medical examiner. Died June 2, 2000, aged 70.

Stewart, Thomas H., Ottawa; University of Edinburgh (Scotland), 1955; internal medicine; FRCPC; former director, Clinical Radioisotope Unit, Ottawa General Hospital; professor, University of Ottawa. Died June 22, 2000, aged 69; survived by his wife, Marie-Paule, and children Dr. Alexander, James, Nicolas and Paul. He established the first nuclear medicine service at the Ottawa Hospital – General Campus.

Taylor, Donald K., Charlottetown; Dalhousie University, 1974; CCFP; staff, Hillsborough Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital Inc.; medical director, Rehabilitation Unit, Queen Elizabeth Hospital; past president, PEI Medical Society; former member, CMA Board of Directors. Died in a car accident Sept. 2, 2000, aged 52. Survived by his wife, Velda, and 3 children.

Walker, W. Allan, York, Ont.; McGill University, 1952; pediatrics; FRCPC; former staff, North York General and North York Branson hospitals; pediatric staff, Hospital for Sick Children; courtesy staff, Humber Memorial Hospital. Died Apr. 19, 2000, aged 78.
