Caesar, John J., Mill Bay, BC; University of British Columbia, 1955; anesthesia; FRCPC; former anesthetist, Wellesley Hospital; consulting staff, Princess Margaret Hospital; associate professor, University of Toronto. Died Apr. 23, 2001, aged 72; survived by 2 sons. His obituary stated: "He had enjoyed his medical years and looked back with pride and a sense of fulfilment. He was reluctant to retire."

The kindergarten class at Glenlyon-Norfolk School will sadly miss his volunteering."
