Recent evidence suggests that eating disorders are on the rise and that the age of onset has lowered. In this issue, Jennifer Jones and colleagues evaluate disturbed eating attitudes and behaviours in a large Ontario school-based population to determine their prevalence and demographic distribution (page 547).
