Volume 22 Number 4
1994 September

This is the fifth book in the Federation of Ontario Naturalists' "Hands on Nature" series. Like the four previous publications  (Introducing Birds, Introducing Trees, Introducing Insects, Introducing Flowers, Ferns, Fungi & More1), this book is designed for teachers working with Junior students.

Following the exact format of the previous publications,   Introducing Reptiles contains activities, reproducible student activity sheets, fact sheets and a large four colour poster. This book complements the others in the series.

As with the previous books my concerns are similar. The lack of both a glossary and a listing of additional resources is noticeable. However, the book is well done and highly recommended.

Grades 4 to 6 / Ages 9 to 11
